02 THE PERSON BEHIND THE PROJECTS

Comfortable
with complexity.
Happiest building.

Finance shapes the questions I ask. Technology expands what I can build to answer them.

I’m Miles, a Pittsburgh-based builder studying Economics and AI for Business at Arizona State University online while working full time at Bennington Asset Management. My interests sit at the intersection of financial markets, business decision-making, and applied technology.

My work spans API integrations, custom code, frontend and backend systems, data analysis, and practical automation. Outside the screen, you’ll find the same curiosity in engine swaps, motorcycle projects, and hands-on renovation work.

A FINANCE FOUNDATION

Understand the business.
Then improve the system.

Working in asset management grounds my interest in technology in a real financial-services environment. Economics adds the lens of incentives, markets, and trade-offs.

HypeMeter brings those interests together through market data and analytics. My broader focus is on how AI, better information, and thoughtful automation can support financial research and business operations.

XR, ROBOTICS & THE PEOPLE BUILDING THEM

Connected to
Pittsburgh’s builders.

I stay involved in Pittsburgh’s robotics, AI, and XR community through local events, conversations, and collaborative projects. Robotics & AI Discovery Day and connections through the Pittsburgh Robotics Network have been part of that exploration.

Building alongside CMU students on IndustXR is another piece of it. I value networking as a way to learn from people doing the work, exchange ideas, and find opportunities to contribute.
